In 2024, WCPA created the Fisheries and MPA Task Force, which will update
and consolidate WCPA’s guidance on the management of fisheries within MPAs and OECMs, and further develop a risk-based approach that considers ‘likely’ fishing impacts applicable to a variety of fisheries. |
