Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken
Supported by the first round of the ETF Small Grants Fund, Bat Conservation International launched the ETF Working Group on Mitigating Impact on Bats, which introduced the IUCN Rec 044 on “Preventing population impacts of wind energy facilities on bats", produced two factsheets on 1) Migratory Bats & Wind Energy (EN, ES, FR, ZH) and 2) Conserving Migratory Bats – A Global Issue (EN, ES, FR), with both in the process of being translated to Russian, Arabic and other languages; and organised a webinar on Reducing the risk of wind energy to bats.
