Exhibition of Macaronesian Cetaceans features eight life-size models of species found in this region: fin whale, sperm whale, Blainville’s beaked whale, Cuvier’s beaked whale, killer whale, bottlenose dolphin, common dolphin, and short-finned pilot whale.
Since 2024, the aim is to raise awareness of these cetaceans among the public and schoolchildren by highlighting their distinctive characteristics and the main threats they face. |
