IUCN organized a webinar, which had members of the One Health High Level Expert group of the Quadripartite (FAO, UNEP, WHO, WOAH) in September 11. The webinar “One Health Beyond Health: Integrated Approaches for Nature and People” presented One Health as an integrated and practical framework that connects biodiversity conservation, ecosystem integrity, climate resilience, and animal and human wellbeing. Through global and regional examples, experts demonstrated how One Health principles are being operationalized across different landscapes and programmes, and highlighted practical lessons, enabling conditions, and opportunities for scaling One Health within IUCN programmes, partnerships, and policy engagement.

The webinar had almost 200 people enrolled but a low number of people actually attended. This is probably to the high competition against other remote events and due to the busy schedule that happens during this time of the year. For next time, choose a better month and make sure to send webinar reminders every week and day before the webinar. |
