Implementation of Resolution 8.121 has focused on establishing a mechanism to support the Resolution. A GCC Task Force on Resolution 8.121 has been established, bringing together interested IUCN Councillors, with approved ToR.
In parallel, work has progressed towards an IUCN strategy for engagement with SNGs, responding directly to the Resolution’s call to embed subnational government perspectives and inclusion across the activities of the Union. |
