PACO is closely working with the Forest and Grasslands teams to position implementation around three mutually reinforcing priorities: high-level policy engagement, establishment of a credible Congo Basin Tipping Point Assessment Task Force, and mobilization of the technical and financial capacity required to translate scientific evidence into practical safeguards. Immediate attention is needed to secure core resources, confirm expert participation, and maintain a clear pathway toward the interim scientific report planned for 2028.
