This report presents actions and outputs in the five areas and the four-year programme 2009-2012: Conserving biodiversity for life; changing the climate forecast; naturally energizing the future; improving life in healthy ecosystems; greening the world Economy. For a marked strengthening of ties and synergies between the various components of IUCN, it takes into consideration the outputs proposed by the Commissions and IUCN members. The report also discusses the evolution of the institutional arrangement of the secretariat in Central and West Africa.
