Climate change is the most significant moral and environmental issue of our time. Multilateral environmental agreement negotiator's handbook : Pacific region, 2013

Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) are becoming more common in government life, necessitating a great familiarity by more people, as many countries are unable to engage effectively in treaties and conventions owing to lack of necessary expertise and resources. This handbook was created to suit the needs of the Pacific region and was prepared as a practical introduction to negotiating or working on MEAs for people with little or no technical background in negotiations. It also functions as a key reference tool for experience negotiators.

Governance for sustainability : issues, challenges, successes

Governance for sustainability is defined as the set of written and unwritten rules that link ecological citizenship with institutions and norms of governance. It is a complex topic because it addresses the three issues of globalization, democracy and sustainability. No form of governance can succeed if there is no common bond between those who govern and those who are being governed. The real issue is whether the common good, that is, the sustainability of life, can be pursued through democratic forms of governance.
