Safeguarding outstanding natural value

Despite being internationally recognised as being of "Outstanding Universal Value" and protected under the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, some of the world's most dazzling areas are under increasing threat from the extractives sector, in particular from commercial mining and oil and gas exploration companies. 

No place to go? : the impact of climate change on wildlife

This consortium of five organizations is working to collect scientific evidence on wildlife and wildlife habitats. This report gives an overview of the findings, as presented to the Norwich Conference: Climate Change and Wildlife, in September 1999.
