Synthetic biology in relation to nature conservation

In 2021, IUCN Members adopted IUCN Resolution 123, mandating the "development of an IUCN policy on synthetic biology in relation to nature conservation". This briefing document has been prepared to support the policy development process and to complement the guidance on the inclusive and participatory process.
