Notes:

This film examines the problem of access to safe water in the developing countries and the increasing problem of water pollution in the industrialised countries. In the least developed countries, collecting water is one of the most important tasks of the day. In industrialised countries, for example in Canada, industrial pollution in the St Laurence River have forced the native American population to stop fishing. Problems of pesticides and fertilizers as pollutants are also discussed.
