External loan forbidden. India Muerta is the name of a wetland in the county of Rocha. This film takes the viewer on a visit to show the importance of creating a nature reserve in order to protect the rich fauna and the flora as well as the 2500 year old archaeological sites. This documentary clearly shows the conflict between the agricultural development (rice culture) and nature conservation.
