El bosque de los Huacamayos

This video present the results of the cooperation between the IUCN program, called PROBONA, Programa Regional Bosques Nativos Andinos and the Federación de Organizaciones Indigenas del Napo (FOIN) and the local communities of quichuas indians in the upper part of the Rio Napo. Communication workshops, multicultural and multidiciplinary expedition in the Huacamayos forest. Relation between conservation and culture, this programme try to revalue the tradtional culture and also the traditional use of the forest like medicine plants for example. It's the first step to the elaboration of the conservation plan for a sustainable management of the Huacamayos forest.
