Policy influencing/advocacyResults from studies and research on importance of Sacred Natural Sites were discussed during the WPC and key recommendations have been promoted, in the context of The Promise of Sydney, to national governments and key international conventions such as the CBD and the UESCO-WHC. Issues on Sacred Natural Sites is also considered in on-going dialogues with extractive industries.
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
- Understanding on the importance of SNS and the need to maintain and conserve them through customary laws is increasing but much needed to be done to achieve full support from national governments.
