Scientific/technical activitiesThe development of a Situation Analysis on Oil Palm and Biodiversity as requested in Resolution 061 is ongoing. The report has been drafted by 25 co-authors, including some representatives from IUCN Specialist Groups. The draft report will be distributed for IUCN-wide and external review on December 22nd. Based on that feedback, we will develop a final text of the Situation Analysis by late January 2018. The Situation Analysis should be available online by April 2018.On-going
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
We have conducted two workshops to discuss the development of the Situation Analysis on Oil Palm and Biodiversity and the formation of the Oil Palm Task Force as requested in Resolution 061. The Situation Analysis has been drafted and will be sent out for IUCN-wide and external review on 22 December 2017. The Oil Palm Task Force has been established, terms of reference for membership and advisory committee agreed, and a website established to disseminate Task Force activities (iucn-optf.org).

Convene stakeholders/NetworkingBefore June 18, 2018 the Task Force will convene its third workshop that will build on the finding of the Situation Analysis on Oil Palm and Biodiversity, and set out strategies and key activities for the Task Force in the remainder of the current Quadrennium. Date and location of the workshop remain to be decided.
Scientific/technical activitiesWe will finalize the Situation Analysis on Oil Palm and Biodiversity based on input from the public review process. The plan is to prepare at least the electronic version of the final report and launch it at the RSPO EU-RT in Paris from 23-25 June 2018. We will also seek additional opportunities to promote the report and its message
