WCC 2016 Res 084 - Activity Report

Environmental PBL(Problem/Project based learning) education is providing in these community centers. Such as garbage classification, nature corner establishing, photo voice etc. Children are asked to solve the environmental problems and doing the project. They are making their community better and at the same time improve their teamwork, problem solving skills, and global views.
And Green Leader Volunteer Day will be hold every year, inviting the volunteers from community center and colleges, they will make presentation about what they are doing for environmental protection.

Making community center to becoming environmental education center. We established nature corner both in and out of community center, to make more city children connect with nature. Including ecological garden, book shelf for nature, nature science corner. Now we are running 4 community centers in Beijing, and 3 in other cites, Qingdao, Hefei and Xi'an.Before, these urban community center seldom provide education to nearby citizens, enviromental education was even less. So we are going to changing these community center into environmental education center.
