Field activities
Conducting Sea Water Air Conditioning measurements off the ocean-side coast of Funafuti atoll in Tuvalu. Completed
Scientific/technical activities
A scale model of the Tuvalu USP campus has been built, and trial experiments are underway to determine thermal efficiency and cooling potential of the seawater air conditioning system, as well as the energy requirements and consumption associated with pumping water from 1,000 metres, over 1km offshore.
