Field activitiesMacedonia Development Group Is an Evangelical Christian Community Based Organization in Morogoro-Tanzania running by Rev: Stephen Kashinde, in Northern part of Morogoro Municipal where most of its community are living in scatted areas and suffering from high poverty due to many families are running by women themselves who have not got enough knowledge of life skills . And capable to handle their families As an Organization; at the end of 2013, after seeing many children are suffering from hungers and low access of humanitarian services, we decided to launch a Christian non- profit Community Organization (FBO) called Macedonia Development Group, we managed to register it to the Government of Tanzania for a purpose of supporting community around the Organization in terms of access to Nutrition’s, Education and Health service while the focus group are children under 14 years. Through support of funds from “Street Kids International –Tanzania” has enabled us to reach at least 10 families who benefit provision of Nutrition’s each month, For further on how community benefits, please follow the presentation video link provided (07:24 minutes): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h-HoZWj8mo So far, as an Organization in the next three years we are seeking to expand this project from current, provision of Home nutrition’s up to School Feeding project. School feeding program as a social safety net has been popular in developing countries as an instrument for achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Importantly, this project assists to achieve higher school enrollment and attendance rate of students in primary schools, provide better nutrition fortified meals to children and help local government to achieve desired outcomes in educational and policy level. FundraisingThe nominee Macedonia Development Group (MDG) has been working in Morogoro Tanzania since 2013 with aim to improve lives of rural poor children and ensure their education in general. In this regard the nominee is planning to initiate school feeding project at a small village in northern part of Morogoro named Mkundi. Main objective of the nominee’s project is to provide morning meal to students from selected 3 schools of this locality for next one academic year. Approximately total 3300 students will be reached under this project. The nominee’s estimated budget is $409,900 USD what is required to run this proposed project including all financial expenditure. Moreover, the nominee is also working to improve the education facilities of schools in rural Morogoro ‘Room to Read’ is one of the nominee’s major funding bodies which will provide necessary financial and technical assistance on purchasing educational accessories for schools. The nominee believes that this project will change lives of poor school students who have to attend class in empty stomach always. The nominee will highly appreciate if IUCN funding committee awards its proposal and fund it for this project. On-going
Please report on the result /achievement of the actions taken: 
Achievements: The nominee has taken so many actions for fundraising we started sharing and applying to different organizations that provide funds for the communities, last year the nominee applied to Youth Entrepreneurship Competition 2018. The idea was to contribute resilience of life to most vulnerable teenage mothers below 21 years old in Morogoro Municipal in terms of wellbeing and economic status. What challenges have you encountered in implementing this Resolution and what measures have you taken to overcome them?: 
The failure of our proposals we realized that we have not been meeting the donors’ criteria. How we overcame them: The author of the proposal must read the donor’s criteria with a great care then he can decide to apply or not, once we started doing that we started overcoming day by day; we can see changes even here in IUCN we were welcomed, we believe we’ll overcome.
