Description
The author writes in the foreword that he researched the great egrets and little egrets in Ungrarn during the First World War. After the dissolution of Austria-Hungary and the loss of Croatia, the little egret is no longer a breeding bird in Hungary and a large part of the former great egret breeding grounds are located in the disputed areas. The author now wonders if it will be possible to save some of them.
