This publication aims to provide stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region with a practical resource from which to develop an Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) indicator framework at the national level. The document highlights how learning, commitment and ownership among stakeholders can be maximized. It does not include an indicator framework itself. Rather, the resource is an extensive platform from which ESD stakeholders can work collaboratively to develop a relevant and meaningful indicator framework based upon national ESD goals and priorities.
