Biodiversity guide to Pakistan

This is the second edition of the Directory of crocodilian farming operations, first published in 1985. The first edition attempted to list all commercial farms, and was primarily intended as a conservation tool to assist government agencies in identifying legal sources of crocodilian skins, and wildlife managers in developing farming projects to benefit the conservation of the wild resource.
The first in a series of directories on the protected area systems of the Indomalayan Realm, this volume covers Bangladesh, India; Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Each of the protected area systems is described under a series of standard headings, supported by lists of sites in each country, with 100 major sites in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka described in more detail.
This publication is a positive step in building up public awareness about an area of great diversity but beset with the problems of the vulnerability of small islands and the limited resources of micro-nations.
