Ce rapport fait le point des actions et résultats dans les cinq domaines du programme quadriennal 2009-2012 : Conserver la diversité de la vie, Changer les prévisions climatiques, Des énergies naturelles pour demain ; Gérer les écosystèmes pour le bien-être humain ; Une économie mondiale plus «verte». Pour marquer le renforcement des liens et de la synergie entre les différentes composantes de l’UICN, il prend en compte des résultats proposés par les commissions et les membres de l’UICN.

This report presents actions and outputs in the five areas and the four-year programme 2009-2012: Conserving biodiversity for life; changing the climate forecast; naturally energizing the future; improving life in healthy ecosystems; greening the world Economy. For a marked strengthening of ties and synergies between the various components of IUCN, it takes into consideration the outputs proposed by the Commissions and IUCN members.

This report outlines the advances made by IUCN's Global Business and Biodiversity Programme in working with business to further global conservation goals — from helping develop Holcim’s Biodiversity Management System to bringing the business voice to CBD negotiations. IUCN also scaled up its influence with the private sector through new engagements with Nespresso, Rio Tinto and Tata Steel Thailand.
