This report brings together a broad range of new and existing information on 2,358 plant and animal species of the Albertine Rift (AR) region of East and Central Africa. A collaborative project assessed the climate change vulnerability of all known Albertine Rift mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish, as well as a range of plants, whilst simultaneously gathering detailed information on their use by humans.
Wetlands are amongst the Earth's most productive ecosystems. In Bangladesh these are of great importance because of the extensive food webs and rich biodiversity they support. In the past, wetlands have been undervalued.

From February 1991 till November 1996 regular bulletins were mailed to interested goose biologists from the National Environmental Research Institute in Kalø, Denmark. The 8th and last issue appeared in November 1996. During the meeting in Höllviken in October 2009, it was decided to restore this bulletin in a digital form. GOOSE BULLETIN appears as required, but at least once a year in electronic form.
