Estimating the value of educational capital formation in India

This study aims to review major issues in the measurement of human capital and present some empirical measures of human capital for India. Education is an important component of economic activity, although investment in education is only one of the many forms of investment in human capital. The main objective of this monograph is to provide empirical estimates of the educational capital formation in different Indian states.

El presente documento es contentivo del Programa Nacional de Conservación de Ecosistemas Terrestres con cobertura boscosa en Honduras (PNCET). Este Programa constituye uno de los dos instrumentos de planificación que ha priorizado el país para implementar la Estrategia Nacional de REDD+. Este documento presenta el PNCET comienza con describir los aspectos metodológicos que fueron considerados en la formulación del Programa. Luego, se describe brevemente el contexto del proceso REDD+ en Honduras y la caracterización de los ecosistemas terrestres con cobertura forestal que cuenta el país.
