Oryx - the international journal of conservation, a quarterly journal from Fauna & Flora International, publishes research on biodiversity conservation, conservation policy and sustainable use, and the interactions of these matters with social, economic and political issues. The journal has a particular interest in material with the potential to improve conservation management and practice.
IUCN is looking to replicate and improve the implementation of its role as facilitator for civil society and private sector involvement in other countries VPA negotiations. To that end, IUCN sought to learn from its experience in Cameroon and contracted The Keystone Center (TKC) to conduct an external evaluation of its role and make recommendations for improvement.
The SVBC discussion, which helped create this report, took place at the Chatham House Illegal Logging Update Meeting on 24 June 2009.
