The Lomborg deception : setting the record straight about global warming
This book tells the story of climate spanning millions of years to help readers understand the predicament faced today. By burning fossil fuels we are increasing the levels of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, causing our planet to become warmer. This book shows how we can all help to combat these problems.
Part 1 of this final report outlines current global environmental problems and serves as an introduction to the entire report. Part 2 gives the results of the Conference discussions. Chapter 1 summarizes the data and reference materials that were submitted to the Conference, and demonstrates how serious current environmental problems are by giving actual data on global warming, loss of biodiversity and others. Chapters 2 and 3 summarize the results of the discussions.
This brochure is a brief presentation of highlights drawn from "Impacts of a warming Arctic", the plain language synthesis report of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment (ACIA). This assessment was called for by the Arctic Council and the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC).
