Sustainable management

As an active member of the Intergovernmental Council of the International Hydrological Programme (IHP) of UNESCO, the Netherlands National Commission for UNESCO and the Netherlands National Committee IHP-HWRP organized the workshop ‘Water allocation and green growth’ in cooperation with the Government of the Netherlands.

This study focuses on pastoralism's current and future potential for securing sustainable managment and green economy outcomes from the world's rangelands.

Participatory Learning and Action is the world's leading informal journal on participatory approaches and methods. In this final issue of PLA, which includes articles submitted by the readers, the authors explore the links between participation, sustainable natural resource management and improving livelihoods.
