Protected Landscapes are a strong option for biodiversity conservation in human-influenced landscapes and seascapes. They often contain threatened or endemic species. There is now also a growing interest in the nature conservation benefits of protected landscapes. But do protected landscapes really protect wild biodiversity? The case studies collected here launch an investigation into wild biodiversity.
Le projet MEDITERRANE-ON: Définition d'indicateurs de durabilité dans l'aquaculture méditerranéenne a pour but de concevoir des outils, sous la forme d'indicateurs, qui permettent de diagnostiquer l'état de l'aquaculture dans la région, en tenant compte de la perspective d'aligner les différents pays qui l'intègrent vers un développement de leurs secteurs aquacoles si possible plus durable.
This text looked to design tools, in the form of indicators, which enable an analysis of the state of aquaculture in the region to be made with the aim of moving the various countries that make up the region towards an even more sustainable aquaculture development.

This publication describes the very urgent situation regarding the Iberian Lynx. Its position on IUCN's red list as critically endangered indicates that the chances of extinction are quite real. Extinction of the lynx would mean the fist extinction of a big cat in Europe since the disappearance of the Sabre-toothed tiger approximately 10.000 years ago.
