External loan forbidden; 2 films on the same tape. The first programme in on the dramatic change in fishing on Lake Nokoué since the construction of a sea wall in Cotonou. The wall has reduced the flow of ocean water into the lake with the result that the fish population has declined. For the local fisherman, the result has been devastating and several development projects have failed as a result. The second programmes (at 19 min.) focuses on salt exploitation from Lake Rose in Senegal.
