L’ouvrage Conservation de biodiversité des zones arides vise à sensibiliser toutes les parties prenantes et à galvaniser une action plus large afin de booster la conservation et le développement des zones arides. Il constitue un appel à l’action ainsi qu’un guide sur comment la conservation et le développement des zones arides peuvent être réalisés de manière équitable.

The European Red List is a review of the conservation status of European species according to IUCN regional Red Listing guidelines. It identifies those species that are threatened with extinction at the regional level, so that appropriate conservation action can be taken to improve their status. This publication summarizes results for all described native European marine fishes.

This publication is the proceedings for a satellite event on Biodiversity and the Ecosystem Approach in Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, held on the occasion of the Ninth Regular Session of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, in FAO, Rome, 12-13 October 2002. An informal presentation of the Satellite Event’s discussions and results was given on 16 October 2002. About 100 participants attended the day and a half event.

The Journal of Species Research publishes peer-reviewed, original research papers, reviews, reports, and notes covering all aspects of taxonomy and biological diversity of all kinds of organisms. The journal encourages submission of papers relating to systematics, taxonomic monograph, revision of a species, flora/fauna of the local habitats, and species list in overseas surveys.

Global Biodiversity Outlook 2 assesses the current status and trends of biodiversity and the key drivers of biodiversity loss. It provides a powerful case for the importance of biodiversity to human well-being. The report contains a succinct overview of the status of the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity, progress towards the 2010 Biodiversity Target and its contribution to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

Published almost at the halfway point of the 2011–2020 Strategic Plan for Biodiversity, this fourth edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-4) provides a timely report: on progress towards meeting the 20 Aichi Biodiversity Targets and potential actions to accelerate that progress; on prospects for achieving the 2050 Vision on ‘Living in Harmony with Nature’; and on the importance of biodiversity in meeting broader goals for sustainable human development during this century.

This publication contains keynote papers, full papers and abstracts presented during the sessions of the day-long programme organized by the IUCN Bangladesh Country Office on 22 December 2014 as part of the IUCN Red List's 50th anniversary campaign. The programme included two technical sessions which highlighted research papers carried out by individuals and institutions in a contribution to enrich the knowledge of wildlife in Bangladesh in a wider context.
