This Youth Voices Curriculum Sourcebook, developed as part of the IUCN World Conservation Congress Hawai'i 2016 to reach younger generations, aims to infuse nature into teaching and learning endeavors, to help (re)connect children and youth with nature, and to inspire their passion and action for its conservation now and into the future. This Sourcebook is intended as a flexible tool to complement and enhance existing school curricula.

En el año 2015, el Consejo de Parques Canadienses (CPC) formó un grupo de trabajo ciudadano para desarrollar una guía de acción para conectar a los canadienses con la Naturaleza. Un año más tarde, el Libro de Juegos de Naturaleza fue lanzado con gran éxito. El Libro de Juegos #NaturalezaParaTodos ha sido desarrollado en asociación con el CPC, con aportes de muchos otros socios de #NaturalezaParaTodos.

En 2015, le Conseil canadien des parcs (CCP) a mis sur pied un groupe de travail formé de citoyens pour élaborer un guide d’action dans le but de rapprocher la population canadienne de la Nature. Le document Sortons jouer dans la Nature lancé un an plus tard fut accueilli avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme.

In 2015, the Canadian Parks Council (CPC) formed a citizen working group to develop an action guide to connect Canadians with Nature. One year later, The Nature Playbook was launched to great acclaim. The #NatureForAll Playbook has been developed in partnership with the CPC, with input from many other #NatureForAll partners. Using the CPC’s The Nature Playbook as a base, it incorporates much of the language and many of the same ideas and examples.

Last Child in the Woods is the first book to bring together a new and growing body of research indicating that direct exposure to nature is essential for healthy childhood development and for the physical and emotional health of children and adults.

The mangrove ecosystem is amongst the worlds richest in terms of its biodiversity. In Fiji, there are eight tree species that make up the mangrove forest. Life on Fiji's Mangrove Trees is an Environment Science reader for school students in Fiji and other Pacific Islands. It is hoped that it will raise children's awareness and appreciation of the different living things that live on mangrove trees and the importance in preserving stands of mangroves.

The compendium shows how the scope of research has evolved at IFPRI, as well as in the wider development community. It covers a host of topics that bear on food and nutrition security, including development strategies, markets and trade, technologies for agricultural production, natural resource management, conflicts and natural disasters, subsidies and safety nets, gender roles, and health. Research on each topic is set into context to show how thinking has progressed over time.
