The Integrated District Development Vision (IDDV) of Quetta District has been developed through a wide consultative process. The current situation, issues and challenges, measures, opportunities and constraints have been discussed sectorwise in the relevant chapters on governance, social sectors, natural resources, economic development and disaster management.

The Integrated District Development Vision (IDDV) for Lasbela was developed through a wide consultative process as a sustainable development agenda using integrated planning for environment friendly and sustainable development, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and protection of its environment. It also provides an implementation framework for implementing the measures listed in all sectors and cross cutting themes.

This publication is a result of recommendations articulated by the NCS and SPCS on the need for devolved decision-making to achieve a long-term sustainable development plan for D.I. Khan that integrates both socioeconomic and environmental imperatives. This document takes stock of the natural resources and opportunities available in the district, and explores ways and means of increasing productivity on a sustainable basis.

The Qila Saifullah – Integrated Development Vision is among the first in the province of Balochistan.
