Investigates and documents the land use systems, vegetation, wildlife and limnology of the Nepal's Begnas and Rupa watersheds. The study identifies the various types of land use in the watershed area and ascertains the government policies that influence land use. It also proposes land-use systems for the watershed area

Presents research results on LMEs including identification of the major driving forces causing large-scale changes in biomass yields and health; development of ecosystem component models; and monitoring and assessment strategies and techniques for measuring changing states of LMEs. Covers contributions from 68 marine scientists from 14 countries.

This series presents the results of an investigation by IUCN’s Global Change Programme into the possible implications of predicted global change for natural systems and their management. This publication examines issues specific to marine ecosystems.
