Una campaña por bosques nublados : ecosistemas unicos y valiosos en peligro

After a general overview of the state of Poland's surface waters, the influence of agricultural activity on the (ground and surface) water quality is highlighted, and rules on how to protect water resources by applying suitable agricultural practices are being formulated. This document is developed within the project "Integrating nature protection and agricultural policy".
Rock climbing is a continent-wide phenomenon. Any ban on climbing in one country invevitably leads to increased pressure on sites in other countries. Thus, regional if not continent-wide approaches are essential to identify sites where restrictions on climbing may be necessary, and to justify, negotiate, and publicise these restrictions (which are often temporary or seasonal). This report examines the history of climbing and its social and economic significance.
The Congo Basin encompasses an enormous region of Central Africa. Up to the present day, the area has a more or less continuous forest cover and is rich in biodiversity. The lowland forest of the Congo Basin for instance, is the most species-rich forest in Africa. In particular species groups of the region, endemism is high.
