This document attempts to provide a roadmap at recognising and evaluating threats to any Tiger Reserve and formulating an appropriate response to such threats.

"Building a future for wildlife" is the slogan of the World Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Strategy. Modern zoos and aquariums are playing an increasingly active and important role in conserving species in their natural habitat. This richly illustrated book provides an overview of the partners, approaches and achievements of the world zoo and aquarium community in wildlife conservation. The book's main focus is on 25 conservation success stories from around the globe, portraying the many ways in which zoos and aquariums are committed to biodiversity conservation.

Contains articles on human-wildlife conflict written by presenters and participants of the workshop "Creating coexistence between humans and wildlife: global perspectives on local efforts to address human-wildlife conflict" at the 5th (fifth) IUCN World Parks Congress.
