Cynthia és una publicació anual que ofereix un resum de les dades més destacables de cada temporada i una sèrie de seccions per a donar a conèixer les diferents estacions de mostratge, els treballs científics que genera el CBMS, els elements més importants per identificar correctament les espècies i, en general, tot allò destacable sobre l'ecologia de les papallones catalanes.

This publication presents 18 case studies to demonstrate how Protected Areas (PAs) can be better managed for disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA). The chapters vary from scientific studies to good practices, as well as (existing or required) policy frameworks that enable appropriate management. The book presents approaches from different regions and aims to cover a range of hazard events as well as a variety of ecosystem types.

Privately protected areas deserve far greater recognition and support than is the case at the moment. Private conservation efforts can often fill important gaps in national policies in terms of both geographic cover and speed of response to conservation challenges, yet they remain a hidden resource: ignored by governments, omitted from international conservation reporting mechanisms and left out of regional conservation strategies.
