Water practitioners are increasingly called upon to negotiate workable agreements about how to best use, manage and care for water resources. This book makes the case for constructive engagement and cooperative forms of negotiation in dealing with complex water issues.

The Delos Initiative focuses on the sacred natural sites in developed countries throughout the world. The threatened species categories used in Red Data Books and Red Lists have been in place for almost 30 years. The IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria provide an easily and widely understood system for classifying species at high risk of global extinction, so as to focus attention on conservation measures designed to protect them.
