Completely in the north of Scotland there is one of the largest peatlands of Europe. The ecological balance of this ecosystem is endangered by private commercial forestry. Trees don't grows naturally in this area but after drainage it's possible to have a forest. The forest disturb large areas of this wet marshes ecosystem. That film shows some apects of this ecosystem which is used as nesting ground by birds.
