The IUCN Mediterranean Reflections 2016 report summares the main activities undertaken by the Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN-Med), based in Malaga.
This report presents the conservation status of the anthozoans occuring in the Mediterranean Sea, based on the assessment of 136 species using the IUCN Red List methodology. It identifies those species that are threatened with extinction at the regional level to guide appropriate conservation actions in order to improve their status.
Le Parc National de l’Ichkeul se situe au Nord-Est de la Tunisie à 75 Km de Tunis. Il occupe 12.600 ha, couvrant successivement la montagne (1.363 ha), le lac Ichkeul (8.500 ha), et les marécages (2.737 ha). Le lac et les marais sont depuis longtemps reconnus comme l’une des principales zones humides du bassin occidental de la Méditerranée. Cette étude vise à évaluer la valeur économique des services écosystémiques rendus par le parc national de l’Ichkeul (PNI).
