Out of all the biological carbon (or green carbon) captured in the world, over half is captured by marine living organisms --- hence it is called "blue carbon".

To take the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) conference forward, IUCN Pakistan organized a national conference on ESD in 2007, in collaboration with UNESCO.
