The stories we usually tell ourselves about climate change tend to focus on the damage inflicted on human societies by big storms, severe droughts, and rising sea levels. This report organises its findings around six interconnected ENACT systems. In agriculture and food systems, NbS can reverse degradation, reduce emissions and enhance food security. In human settlements, NbS improve public health and foster inclusive, liveable cities. For natural and modified ecosystems, NbS safeguard ecological integrity and carbon sinks while supporting livelihoods.

The overall purpose of this scoping study is to provide a state-of-the art overview of the Albanian national context in regard to the application of NbS approaches for climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction (DRR).

This report covers both terrestrial and marine protected and conserved areas (PCAs). The audience is practitioners and policymakers who seek background information on the role of PCAs in climate change mitigation to:
- develop policies that enhance biodiversity and climate change simultaneously;
- quantify the importance of PCAs as a mechanism to reduce GHG emissions in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) to the Paris Agreement;

This book addresses how sustainability discourse and advocacy can translate to impactful policies especially when bridging the divide between sustainability, climate change and gender. The book explores various areas, such as conservation, climate action, sustainable fashion, and corporate sustainability, and defines the existing sustainability gaps in the selected cases (country/sector/region).

This guidance aims to inform the planning, design, and implementation of new and expanded MPAs, OECMs, areas conserved by Indigenous peoples, and networks of protected and conserved areas at the community, national, and international levels. It focuses on why it is important to consider climate change in MPA1 planning, and how new areas can be established in ways that build climate resilience, adaptation, and mitigation.
