La Déclaration sur les forêts et le changement climatique, adoptée sur la base d’un consensus par le Dialogue sur les forêts, a donné lieu à quatre dialogues internationaux multipartenaires auxquels ont participé plus de 250 responsables de la forêt venus du monde entier, qui ont formulé des recommandations sur les mesures à prendre et établi des notes de synthèse thématiques.

This document represents The Forests Dialogue's consensus-based Statement on Forests and Climate Change produced after 4 international multi-stakeholder dialoges involving more than 250 leaders from around the world. The publication includes recommended actions and issue-specific briefing notes.

This guide is provides guidance on how to structure enabling investments and prepare the ground for asset investments that yield acceptable returns and reduced risk, not only for investors, but also for local forest right-holders, national governments and society at large. The volume sets out a framework for structuring investments with tactical advice for building the partnerships necessary for success.

A series of dialogues organised by The Forests Dialogue (TFD) between 2009 and 2012 on ‘investing in locally controlled forestry’ (ILCF) was designed to help catalyse investments in LCF by sharing learning between rights-holder groups and investors; improving mutual trust based on an agreed investment framework; and identifying practical ways forward.

The Doi Mae Salong watershed in the north-west of Thailand is the headwater of the Mae Chan River, a tributary of the Mekong River. This paper describes Livelihoods and Landscapes Strategy interventions in the Wassa Amenfi West Landscape in the western region of Ghana. The landscape extends over an area of about 120,000 ha. It is a mixed landscape with a variety of agricultural uses; the most important is cocoa farming.
