El Proyecto "Facilitando la distribución de beneficios para REDD+" (2013-2016) buscó implementar acciones REDD+ tempranas, mediante mecanismos de distribución de beneficios eficientes y equitativos lo suficientemente robustos para ser integrados a largo plazo en los marcos de trabajo REDD+ nacionales e internacionales.

This book is the first comprehensive introduction to the issues surrounding the health of people living in and around forests, particularly in Asia, South America and Africa.

The Restoration Opportunities Assessment Methodology (ROAM) was developed by IUCN and the World Resources Institute (WRI) to assist countries in identifying opportunities for forest landscape restoration (FLR), analysing priority areas at a national or sub-national level, and designing and implementing FLR interventions.

This report summarises the main outcomes of the workshop on Restoring Myanmar’s Degraded and Deforested Landscapes, organised jointly by the Forest Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONREC), IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, on 9-11 November 2016, with the financial support of UK aid and TNC.

La restauration des paysages forestiers (RPF) offre un cadre complémentaire à l’aménagement forestier durable et une approche écosystémique dans les paysages où la perte de forêt a entraîné un déclin de la qualité des services fournis par les écosystèmes. Cet ouvrage a été rédigé par une équipe d’experts d’institutions très diverses, dont le travail a été coordonné par l’OIBT et l’UICN.

La restauración del paisaje forestal (RPF) ofrece un marco complementario para la ordenación forestal sostenible y el enfoque ecosistémico en paisajes donde la pérdida del bosque ha causado el deterioro de la calidad de los servicios del ecosistema. El presente libro fue escrito por un equipo de expertos de una gran diversidad de instituciones coordinadas por la OIMT y la UICN.

Forest landscape restoration (FLR) provides a complementary framework to sustainable forest management and the ecosystem approach in landscapes where forest loss has caused a decline in the quality of ecosystem services.  This book has been written by a team of experts from a wide variety of institutions coordinated by ITTO and IUCN.
