This study examines the benefits of wood as a construction material and discusses practices applied in the wood construction sector from the perspective of circularity, sustainability and climate change mitigation. It analyses how circularity concepts can be applied in the construction industry using different construction methods and at different stages of value chains.

The report emphasises the importance of respecting the rights of and supporting smallholder and local oil production systems due to their positive socio-economic outcomes and contribution to food security. The report acknowledges that within each vegetable oil system, there are both good and bad actors and outcomes, and urges for a nuanced perspective.

The key aim of this report is to outline how developers can start to act on supply chain biodiversity impacts by improving traceability and sourcing practices through. It is primarily aimed at developers of wind and solar projects and transmission infrastructure, who primarily source composite goods (e.g. wind turbines and solar panels).

This book lays out the principles and practices of transformative sustainability education using a relational way of thinking and being. The author advocates for a new approach to environmental and sustainability education, that of rethinking the Western way of knowing and being and engendering a frank discussion about the societal elements that are generating climate, environmental, economic, and social issues.

In 2021, IUCN launched the IUCN Flagship Report Series, to help demonstrate the importance of conserving nature for human well-being and all life on Earth. This report, the second in the series, focuses on agriculture and nature. The interactions, synergies, and tradeoffs between the two sit at the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which calls for ending hunger and ensuring food security while also mandating the protection and restoration of nature.

El informe hace hincapié en la importancia de respetar y apoyar los derechos de los pequeños agricultores y los sistemas locales de producción de aceite por sus resultados socioeconómicos positivos y su  contribución a la seguridad alimentaria. El informe reconoce que dentro de cada sistema de aceite vegetal hay tanto actores como resultados buenos y malos, e insta a adoptar una perspectiva matizada.
