All Convene stakeholders/Networking Implementation of Resolution 8.121 has focused on establishing a mechanism to support the Resolution. A GCC Task Force on Resolution 8.121 has been established, bringing together interested IUCN Councillors, with approved ToR.
In parallel, work has progressed towards an IUCN strategy for engagement with SNGs, responding directly to the Resolution’s call to embed subnational government perspectives and inclusion across the activities of the Union. 		On-going Full activity report

La Celebración surgió directamente del mandato del III CAPLAC para visibilizar e integrar los esfuerzos de conservación de los gobiernos locales y subnacionales en los SNAP. Coordination issues

Los gobiernos municipales son claves por su cercanía al territorio: representaron el 17.5% de todas las celebraciones en 2022 (frente a 13.6% en 2021). Se integraron 7 avales nacionales de RedPARQUES y sistemas locales, demostrando que capacitar a técnicos locales en directrices OMEC sortea la rigidez burocrática de las sedes centrales de los SNAP.
